Ok, i bought this lipstick like 6 months ago. Its by Urban Decay, and its this perfect deep plum. It was beautiful, but now it doesn't seem to be as intense when I wear it. Can pigment fade in lip stick? This is the first lipstick I've ever really bought and worn, so I don't know if thats normal or if its a dud. I'm usually very happy with Urban Decay brand, but now that I think of it I have an intense purple eyeshadow from them also, and it doesn't seem to be as intense as it originally was either. WTF? I don't have a lot of money to throw around, but I like to buy dept. store quality makeup because I believe in buying things that are of quality and that will last. Should I switch to another go to brand?

I anticipate Monday the most, because its the one day that I get to sleep in(my weekend is Sunday/Monday)! I like my job, so I don't have a least liked day of the week :)

Yeah motherfucker, its almost 5am on my birthday!! I've actually never stayed awake til my official birth time, why not start now? 5:55am, thats 1 hour and 4 min from this exact moment.

I decided that buying the DVD version of Pink Floyds the wall would be a good way to ring in my b-day. I used to be obsessed with that movie, and I don't think I've seen it in almost 10 years. Gotta love the internet, connecting drunks everywhere with their expensive impulse buys!

Bettie Page, a 1950s pinup known for her raven-haired bangs and saucy come-hither looks, was hospitalized in intensive care after suffering a heart attack, her agent said Friday.

"She's critically ill," Mark Roesler of CMG Worldwide told The Associated Press.

He said the 85-year-old had the heart attack Tuesday and was hospitalized Friday in the Los Angeles area.

A family friend, Todd Mueller, said Page was in a coma. When asked to confirm, Roesler said, "I would not deny that." Roesler would not comment further on her condition.

Page, a secretary turned model, is credited with helping set the stage for the sexual revolution of the rebellious 1960s. She attracted national attention with magazine photographs of her sensuous figure that were tacked up on walls across the country.

Roesler said CMG has represented some of biggest celebrities over the decades, and that Page has been "one of our biggest clients. She's right up there with Marilyn Monroe.

Page's photos included a centerfold in the January 1955 issue of then-fledgling Playboy magazine, as well as controversial sadomasochistic poses.

She later spent decades away from the public eye, and during that time battled mental illness and became a born-again Christian.

After resurfacing in the 1990s, she occasionally granted interviews but refused to allow her picture to be taken.

Mueller credits his business dealings with Page for bringing her out of seclusion. He said he first met her in 1989 when he offered her "a bunch of money" to show up at autograph signings.

"I probably sold 3,000 of her autographs, usually for $200 to $300," he said. "Eleanor Roosevelt, we got $40-$50. ... Bettie Page outsells them all.

My mom always made the same green been casserole every single holiday. I would look forward to having this every Thanksgiving and Christmas, and last year being my first away from the parents I had to get the recipe from my Mom, because it just wouldn't be Thanksgiving to me without it. This year with her being in the hospital, her life in danger, it means so much to me to be preparing this dish on Thursday. I would like to share it with all of you, with the hope of sending good cheer and energy her way with every new person who trys it. So without further adu...

Deannes Green Bean Casserole

1 can cut green beans
1 can cut yellow beans
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 5 ounce can of water chestnuts, buy the sliced ones

Combine all of the above ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

This doubles wonderfully, I recommend it.

The Kitsap Humane Society is over run with cats! This is no joke. For the time being they are waving the $125 adoption fee for adult cats, in an effort to get them homes quickly, instead of having to euthanize all the overflow. Yikes, I'm so tired!

Went out tonight, the first time I've gone out on a work night in a LOOOOOOONG time. I'm such a boring adult now, I'm totally satisfied to sit and home and relax all night, every night. Right now we're browsing Craigslist to see if we can ever find a place in P.O. to rent. It seems like there isn't anything available, which sucks because I really want to get out of Gig Harbor. I'm sick of using so much gas all the time. There is absolutely NOTHING to do in Gig Harbor. Not that we go out that much, but when I DO feel up to it, I'd like to be somewhat close.
